Notification (AIOU suspended all Academic / Research Activities (Workshops, Exams and Classes etc))

In Pursuance of the directives of Governemnt of Pakistan in the wake of declaration of COFVID-19 pandemic by the WHO, the Allama Iqbal Open University has suspended all its academic / research activities (workshops, exams, classes etc.) with immediate effect till 5^th April, 2020 for students only. However, during the period, the administrative / servicing offices and faculties shall remain open.

33% (1/3^rd) strength of the faculty and administrative staff will attend the office on rotation basis as decided by the respective Dean, Principal Officer and Chairman / Head of Departments. Whereas, the remaining 66% staff will work from home and remain accessible / on call. This holds good for the Regional Campuses / Centers across the country.

All Dean, Principal Officers, Chairman / HODs will attend the offices as per routine.

Postponement AIOU Final Exams

It is announced by the Controller Examinations AIOU, that in compliance with the decisions of National security committee & HEC, the AIOU examinations of autumn 2019 semester (currently in progress) are postponed throughout the country from 14 March 2020 till further orders. There will be no paper on Saturday, 14 March 2020 onwards.

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has announced admission to the KNB Scholarships for the academic year 2020-2022. The Scholarship is a financial assistance offered by the Indonesian Government to the International Students coming from developing countries to peruse their Master degree in Indonesian Universities.
